Education is a cornerstone of the IPF's mission. Whether informing outside parties, or providing specialist learning opportunities for its members, the IPF is at the forefront of investment education in the industry.

There are two principal streams to the IPF's education provision - the formal Investment Education Programme, which is part of Henley Business School at Reading University, and the seminar and workshop programme.

Continuing Professional Development

We offer a regular programme of seminars, technical briefings, webinars and workshops throughout the year in London and in the regions. Seminars and technical briefings usually take place for a couple of hours in the morning or evening and cover a range of specialist and hot topics with three or four leading speakers in the field. We regularly attact between 50 and 200 people to these events. Workshops typically run for a half or full day and offer the opportunity for a detailed and hands-on examination of a particular topic - concentrating on helping you improve your skills in the marketplace. Webinars are generally an hour long and take the same format as our standard seminars. Recordings of these can be found in the Resource Library.
